Detroit Free Press Names Service Express a Winner of the Top Workplaces Award for the 9th Consecutive Year

November 11, 2019

Grand Rapids, MI–Service Express, a leading data center maintenance hardware provider, has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2019 honor by The Detroit Free Press. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

“The Top Workplaces award is about much more than recognition and celebration,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage. “Our research also shows that these organizations achieve higher referral rates, lower employee turnover, and double the employee engagement levels. It just goes to show that being intentional about culture delivers bottom-line results.”

“We take our responsibility to create and maintain a people-powered work environment seriously,” says Ron Alvesteffer, President and CEO of Service Express. “Our core value is to help our employees achieve their personal, professional and financial goals. Partnering with our people to support their ambitions is a founding tenet of Service Express. We’re honored that our Detroit team has continued to place us on this Top Workplaces list.”
